Tested Good means that it successfully shutdown the computer when the ups went critical - caveats to this are the number exceptions below
Tested Bad means it failed to shutdown the computer properly - an explaination is in the numbered list below
Foot notes
1 Some programs like Active Desktop don't work well with the forced shutdown in the windows 9x series. In particular ActiveDesktop comes up in safe mode after a forced shutdown. You should just be able to click on the restore button to fix it.
2 This is now a confirmed bug in all versions up to and including 0.45.2b. IP addresses in the upsmon.conf cannot be resolved properly to connect to the machine running upsd. Workaround is to use a DNS resolvable name (can just add the upsd machines name and ip to the c:\windows\hosts or c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file on the windows machine to make it DNS resolvable) and use that name in the upsmon.conf. The next release will have this fixed
3 Using the combination of shutdown and poweroff flags in the exit windows API call cause ME to suspend instead of shutdown
4 Whistler Beta1 blue screened when the UPS went critical - maybe an issue with the beta

Have you run WinNUT against one of the platforms listed as untested? If so let me know () so I can update the list. Thanks!
